On November 11, 2010, at the Keauhou Resort Kona Coffee Label and Website Competition we were awarded the Sponsors Award for our web site.



     
On July 25th, 2009, Makahiki Farms won the Silver Medal at the Cream of the Crop coffee tasting event held at the Four Season's Resort Hualalai. This Chef's Choice award in the Estate category means a great deal to us since it is a blind tasting by culinary experts.

On November 13, 2008, at the Ninth Annual Keauhou Resort Kona Coffee Label and Website Competition we were awarded second place for our web site.

Makahiki Farms won the Bronze Medal at the Cream of the Crop coffee tasting event held July 12, 2008 at the Four Season's Resort Hualalai. We won third place in the People's Choice tasting in the Estate Coffee category. We served our Estate medium-dark coffee freshly roasted in our new roaster.

Makahiki Farms won two Bronze Medals at the Cream of the Crop coffee tasting event held July 8, 2006 at the Four Season's Resort Hualalai. We took third place in the Chef's Choice and tied for third in the People's Choice balloting in the Estate Coffee category. The Chef's award means a great deal to us since it is a blind tasting by culinary experts.

Makahiki Farms won the Silver Medal at the Cream of the Crop coffee tasting event held July 17, 2004 at the Kona Village Resort. We took second place in the People's Choice balloting in the Estate Coffee category.

On November 6, 2004, we were voted the People's Choice Award for best coffee at the Keauhou Resort "Kona Coffee & Art" event of the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival.

In November 2003, at the Fourth Annual Keauhou Resort Kona Coffee and Label Competition we were awarded the Sponsors Award for our label and tied for second for our web site.
